Roccamore
Marketing + Creative Team Manager
After a multi-industry streak in the corporate world I decided to return to my roots in fashion to lead the marketing and creative team at the Danish shoe brand Roccamore. I have always prioritized working for purpose-driven organizations, but to be able to combine that with my passion for the fashion industry was the start of an exciting journey. Roccamore's unique product is arguably the most comfortable high heels in world, scientifically proven to be 44% more comfortable than their competition. The brand works to inspire women to stand strong and look good doing it.
The first role of its kind in the company, I worked to develop and inspire a team of 7 people covering the entire marketing process - photography, video, design, social media, events, and external communication. Through careful and detailed planning we coordinated one hero launch per month and 2-3 smaller launches or focused campaigns on existing styles. This web of content was led by a collaboration with individuals who are making a difference in the Nordic region, our primary market, and would represent the brand as the Roccamore Rebel for the month. Not necessarily a big celebrity, or even someone everyone adored, our Rebels were standing out from the crowd and challenging the status quo.
My responsibilities focused heavily on leading the team and ensuring they had the tools they needed for success and developing a scalable marketing strategy to support our expansion into new markets. As a native English speaker I also worked to adapt the copy for web and PR, liaised with press and media for events, and assisted with styling for photo and video shoots.
Reporting directly to the founder and CEO, we developed an ambitious international plan for expansion and promotion with style and sustainability at the forefront.
